Homemade Macaroni and Cheese
This mac and cheese has got to be one of my favorite recipes of all time. I love the ooey gooeyness with the hard almost crunchy top.
~ Ingredients ~
- Elbow Noodles
- Evaporated Milk
- Cheese Wiz
- Shredded Cheddar and Mozzarella Cheese
- Butter
- Salt and Pepper
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cook the elbow noodles until they are done to your liking, I like them al dente where they're still a little on the hard side.
In a glass baking dish add a layer of noodles. To that add 6 small slices of butter.
In a sauce pan, add your evaporated milk and cheese wiz and heat together until creamy.
Pour about half of the mixture over top of the noodles as well as half of the shredded cheese.
Add the rest of the elbow noodles as well as 6 more slices of butter.
Add the remainder of the creamy cheese sauce and the shredded cheese on top.
Bake until the cheese is melted and a little brown on top.
Notice I didn't add any measurments? That is because you can add as little or as much as you like to make it yours! I know you all will LOVE LOVE LOVE this creamy, cheesy goodness. Definitely a total comfort food. ENJOY :)
